Social Ministry/Food Pantry

Open: Monday-Thurday 1-3 PM

Holy Trinity is the only full service ministry in the Ocean View community that continues to serve clients four days a week. We have been able to provide utility, rent, and food assistance, not only to our community, but also to referrals that we receive from other local churches. Our office is staffed by twenty-four volunteers from the parish. In the past year (2000-2001) we provided financial assistance (food, rent, utilities) valued at $10,150 to over 1,100 families.

For those seeking assistance, we request that they bring a picture I.D. and, if seeking utility assistance, copies of recent bills. Call 480-3206 for further information, during the hours noted above.

Donations:

We receive donations from 4 local civic groups, three area churches, and the Diocesan Fuel and Hunger Fund but we depend mostly on the food and monetary donations from individuals.

If you would like to make a donation of food or money to continue this ministry, make your checks payable to Holy Trinity Catholic Church and write in the MEMO area : "Social Ministry". You can mail your donation or drop it in the Sunday collection basket.
