HOLY TRINITY
Advisory Councils
Under Canon Law, every pastor must establish in his parish a finance council. The finance council is advisory to the pastor and offers guidance and input regarding the fiscal operations of the parish. At Holy Trinity, the finance council meets quarterly to review the finances of the parish, consider investments and savings, and plan for long-term savings and capital improvements. The current finance council is comprised of the following members:
2009 Finance Council
Mike Scanlon, Chairman
Joni Fontes
Jim Daffron
Mary Christou
Al Derenske
Joseph Reagan, ex officio
Father Dan Beeman, ex officio
Holy Trinity also utilizes a Parish Council, whose members look for ways to improve and develop the ways that our parish fulfils our pastoral mission. Parish Council members consider the concerns of parishioners, work in independent groups to improve the life of the parish, and serve as a liaison to the pastor. Parish Council members are nominated each year to serve on the council and are selected through a discernment process. The current Parish Council is comprised of the following members:
