St. Teresa Food Pantry

The St. Teresa Food Pantry is one of the strongest ways Holy Trinity Catholic Church connects with the immediate needs of our local community. Each week, we serve approximately one hundred clients and their families who find themselves in need of food assistance. Our work in the food pantry is offered directly to Ocean View residents living in the 23503, 23505 and 23518 zip codes.  The food pantry is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 1 PM to 3 PM in the Pastoral Center. Starting December 4, 2023, the food pantry is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1 PM to 3 PM.

Make a Donation

Our food pantry relies on the support of the parish community. Canned goods, dry foods and other necessities are received at each Mass or at the Pastoral Center during operating hours. Financial donations are also needed from the parish and the surrounding community to provide perishable foods that must be purchased such as meat, bread, eggs, and dairy. To make a financial donation to our social ministry, please click here. Your generosity is appreciated!

In-Kind Donations

If you would like to make an in-kind donation, we are in need of:

  • plastic grocery bags
  • saltine crackers
  • canned soup
  • spaghetti o’s
  • canned ravioli
  • baked beans
  • toilet paper

Volunteers Needed

A 100% volunteer workforce operates the food pantry. If you are available during the day to assist in the support of our food pantry, or if you have a teenager who needs service hours, please sign up here. Volunteers help by welcoming clients, helping them fill out the intake form, bagging groceries, stocking shelves, cleaning, and shopping. For more information, please call Gina Bordeaux at 757-541-2828 or email her at  [email protected].
